Hello, i just bought a 93 mustang LX with a rebuilt engine(about 30,000 since rebuild) and i got a problem. I know this things a 4 banger and it aint gonna run like a vette, but there's gotta be somethin wrong with this thing and i can't figure it out. When i got it, it was having trouble accelerating, expesially when not coming to a complete stop, slowing down to about 20 and accelerating again. It just kinda stays there, even if you floor it. It's getting about 15-17 mpg which i don't think is right lol. I took it and a a computer test ran on it, ended up changing the EGR Valve sensor and O2 sensor. Still no luck. Somone said the CAT converter could be stopped up. Ran a pressure check, it is fine. Someone said the torque converter, but i don't wanna fool with that till i know for sure. Now, the fuel pump is constantly buzzing. You can hear it plain as day from inside and out. Every once and a while you will get a wiff of fuel in the cab, like maybe its leaking. I've come to 2 conclusions: The fuel pump is pumping too much gas, flooding the engine, dropping performance/gas mileage, or something is leaking somewhere not giving the engine enough gas. I DON'T KNOW!!!!!!! lol Any help would be appreciated. Automatic btw Thanks, Rex
