I installed an off road h-pipe friday on my 96 and now it has a bad miss when you get on it. I have no check engine lights or anything and car didn't have this problem before the h-pipe install. Anyone have any ideas whats causing this. Thanks

An exhaust leak will cause such issues, if you have not already ruled that out.

Did you make sure to fully seat the o2 sensors after the installation or did you damage any of the wires on the harnesses?

I'll check everything out again, I dont think I damaged any wires. It's probably that damn passenger side flange leaking, I dont hear a leak but the gasket that came with the h-pipe was folded in half, and I was worried about it sealling. Thanks

I'd give the driver side a good looking over too. That's where I've had an issue before. Also double check the o2 sensors.

I'd buy a new oem ford gasket. the ones that come with kits are cardboard and crap.

miss from the exhaust. from my experience, had a lightning come into the shop running rough. a full bank 5,6,7,8 would keep randomly misfire. Monitor PIDs and noticed that the front left 02 sensor was stuck at a specific reading, not osciliating like a sign wave. anyways it was the 02 sensor stuck given a certain reading that caused the misfire.

be sure you put the front 02 sensors in the front and the rear in the rear. i know, its a dumb statement, but front and rear 02s are not interchangeable, which you probably already know.

Thanks guys, I"ll get back under it this weekend and check it all out. I believe the o2 sensors are right I marked them as I took them out just to be sure they went back in the right place. We have all the tools at our shop to hook the car up and tell what each sensors is doing I'll try that also. I hope it's something simple. Thanks
