bad pinging .........

iam having a bad problem with pinging when the car reaches op. temp... car has bbk. shorties, bbk x.pipe, svo side exhaust, b303 and msd 6a ignition ......I run 92 octane all the time.........I live in vegas so the temp here right now is 112 degrees. what can i do to fix this????????

what thermostat are you running? should be a 180degree,or put in some octane booster.Other than that maybe switch gas brands you could be getting some bad 92.

Do you have a real gauge to know how hot you are getting?
In town, is the fan coming on?

How old is the radiator? It might simply be old and clogged and unable to reject enough heat, esp when the temp delta (ambient to operating temp) is less, like it is in your heat. It causes a delta avg phase shift up.
