Baer, SSBC, Wilwood, or Granada?

There are a couple of complete granada kits on ebay that will probably be in the 600 range by the time they are done and I'm wondering if I should pony up that or just wait and spend big bucks on one of the name brands?

If I should wait for the name brands which one?

This is going to be a street car but I want the handleing to be there.

I would never pay $600 for the granada stuff. Its a good low budget upgrade, but for a little more than $600 there is better stuff out there.

Keep looking for Granada stuff, that sound expensive. I bought a whole Granada for $200, took the brakes and 8", sold the motor and tranny, sent the body to the crusher. $600 seems like a bit much.

Ditto, Granada stuff can still be found in the salvage yards. You might be surprised at how cheap they can be bought. I got my set a few years back for $75 and to this day they are still on the race rod.

I concur... There is absolutely no reason to spend $600 on Granada/Monarch/Maverick/Comet discs. You can get brand new complete kits from a couple places for around $400, and once you're in the $600 area, there are even more options.

My max for a Granada kit would be $100 (assuming it comes with absolutely everything but needs a good rebuild).
