I received my harmonic balance (Professional-Products) today and as soon as I came home from work I went to work. It took my maybe an hour and I was done and I must say this balancer is a very nice piece . I would recommend it to any one that needs one and really can’t afford the Romac piece. The ride is very smooth and the under drive pulley feel awesome . Now I don’t have to bum rides to work anymore god I hate doing that . Just thought I would share and give thanks to HISSIN50, HoofnIt, JJ95GTID, stangboy for their input and helping me make my decision

did you spray it with clearcoat before installing it? The Professional-Products balancer is the same as the pioneer right? If so... you might want to consider spraying it with clearcoat or else it will rust on you Thats the only complaint I have about mine and only took me like 30min to install mine I've done it once before tho

It's very simple just remove the fan and crap and there plenty of room to play with. Just make sure you buy tread locker (medium strength), RTV black gasket maker (hi temp), go to AutoZone and ask for their harmonic balancer puller (loaner tool) cost like $16 and you get the money back when you return it. Get some emerald cloth to clean/lightly sand off any crap of the crank. Oh and a breaker bar to take that bolt off the balancer, If your strong enough it should break loose with ease.

i think the Powerbond is the same as Pioneer (in the SFI units atleast). this is my vague recollection. PP is all their own, i believe.

Wytstang, thanks for the 'thanks' and thank you for the feedback. always nice to hear, for future recommendations......glad it went smooth and you like it!

You just convinced me to replace mine. I could see the black rubber hanging out the back of mine and I checked again tonight and it is wobbling all over the place. Looks like it is a time for one
