FWIW, the fox ones go south too. They seem to kinda do ok stock, but like many parts, they get overwhelmed when you guys start putting together the sick combos that you do.
Remember too that the elastomer is rubber - it degrades over time.
Question. Why do the balancer on our cars go bad so much. When mine went bad everyone I brought it to said it prolly wasnt the balancer cause they had NEVER seen one go bad. D.Hearne on this forum has a 30 year old balancer on his 351. He never had to change it. Just curious.

I bought a craftsman extension and it came right off. I got it torqed on there at 120 ft/lbs. but the pulley spacer is to deep for the bolts. Guess I will go to the hardware store and tomarrow and to get some replacements.
