I think the ball joints in my 93 are original.
No grease fittings, right?
I've check them and I have had my mechanics them checked frequently. They are fine in terms of checking ball joints.
The odometer is on its second time around as far as I know. I'm not the original owner.
Is this a thing of, if is not broke don't fix it? The car is not driven on the street. It's a drag car only.
If I had to get new ones, I would go for tubular K-member, A-arms, etc.. The whole 9 yards.
On the other hand, I don't feel like spending the money if they are ok.
Just looking for some opinions.
All the help is greatly appreciated as usual.
Thanks!

When you say trailer drag race car are you talking like Sick Week where the race cars pull trailers to each event and have no support vehicles? IF that is the case then hell yes I would run through the entire front suspension and steering.

Sorry. My bad on the phrasing.
It's not driven on the street. It's a drag car only. My truck pulls it on a trailer.

If they are good now leave em till you're ready to update.
Or.......just do the K member/tubular control arms and be done...
Pics of 'race car' plezse

If they aren't broken, don't fix them. The tubular K-member etc is going to change all that anyway.

If the boots are torn in any way at all, or you have any noise...replace them.

Balljoints seem to be a major issue on the SN95 cars. Lots of posts on the FB groups of folks having their ball joints fall out while driving. Lots of pics of crusty, dried noisy balljoints.

Those are not going to work with the stock K-member unless you have gone to a coil over strut already.

I checked the ball joints out today.
The driver's side is starting to tear.
LMR has Complete Control Arms with the ball joints already installed. Most of the reviews were good. A few of the bad reviews make me question the quality?

I'm pretty much sold on these BMR ones. They work with the factory springs.

Has anyone had any experience with either one?
Thanks!

Why don't you just rebuild the OEM ones with good ball joints and some Moog bushings? You can rent the ball joint press for free at a parts store and it will also install the bushings. If you don't have the time or inclination I get that but its not a whole lot of work or the ones I did didn't seem to be.
