Bamachips Tune

Hey guys Im going to order a single tune from bamachips and was wondering what is the difference between an 87 race tune and a 87 performance tune. Also for those who have ordered a tune from bamachips, what does it mean under option premium fuel octane 91, 92, 93. Considering I want an 87 tune.

Some states have higher octanes at the pump. I know here in Texas and Louisiana we have 87, 89, and 93 octane. If your state only has 91, then don't order a 93 tune since you would probably ping.

Also, the race is much more aggressive and intense I've heard they are a pretty fun tune, but not very street/commuter friendly.

Well I ordered a 87 race and my car started to ping at acceleration. I did not understand what premium fuel octane ment so I just left it at 91. I tried getting ahold of him but could only leave a message.
