Base Timing for a 92 LX

Just wondering if anyone has base timing info for a 92 LX. My manual says to looks at the emissions label, but I am without one. If it matters the car is a 5.0 and has a manual transmission. BTW it is also an SSP. Thanks.

what ive been reading it look like 10 deg base, but it looks as some people go up to 14 -15 deg.
may want someone else to chime in tho

Factory is 10° BTDC with the gray SPOUT jumper unplugged. (by the distributor harness)

if its street driven id go with 14 after you pass the sniffer. < go with ten for that . my 347 wont run at all with 14. it runs 18* all day long man

If it pings on 87 gas with 14°, just back the timing off until it doesn't. The miniscule gain from running more advance is not worth the extra cost of premium gas.
