Whatever.

The only thing of that I even know offhand is that the stock rods are 5.2".

And since you haven't noticed, this forum isn't exactly a hotbed of technical discussion. Sometimes it takes a little time to get questions answered.

it does not mean i will go away. sorry. i have a couple of 2.3T that i will build without giving information for. and i guess i will have to be old school about it and not tell anyone...

figured the "2.3 tech forum" would be the place to ask "2.3 tech questions" never mind. also i will be looking for svo's to throw 350 chevy motors in. can anyone help me in my quest?

well..... it is some rarely used info. Hoarding certainly won't hurt though since its all published and well distributed info. If it took 7 hours to find it, this could also be a reference for how fast your cars are.

Feel free to put a 350 in anything you like, thats what makes the world great however..... Be prepared to get beat by 10 cars by my 2.3 (that uses stock deck height, stock compression height...hell stock pistons, and stock length rods).

Old school? What are you talking about?

This is the place to ask tech questions, but you copped an attitude right away and that puts people off.

Thats a little more social, I guess.

I will certainly not downplay your engine build however I will tell you some proven FACTS about it. Not my opinion just proven information.

You are mis-informed if you think the B234F is going to be a 10k rpm screamer. In fact the head port design and cams will run out of steam at 5000. The volvo head flows similar to a arca downlow YES, but only at very low unusable lift numbers.

Opinion: I think the volvo head is a fine idea and would make for a great 300hp street car with strong midrange power and great fuel economy.

I promise I've given as much to the 2.3 community as anyone (except for stinger). Thats a fairly powerful statement for someone who hasn't completed the first yet.

Hmmm...that attitude seems familiar. Do you also post on the Ford Six performance forums by chance?

actually my car runs 10.8's and thanks for the cookie. This year its going to run 9.8s.

The video I posted was just a shutdown run. It also wasn't a stock shortblock it was a completely stock everything from oilpan to valve cover and ran 11.2s. As far as we know thats as fast as anybody has gone so I'd say that record along with all the info I've given over the years with it makes me a contributor.

here's what happens to smallblock power adder cars when they run my $3800 street car.

You say you aren't a 16 year kid? so how old are you?

I'm certainly an indecisive person. Ask anybody! I question everything and typically go against the grain. However I tend to stand out in what I do and usually exceed others doing the same.

The other mistake people make is trying to call me out. I live in Kansas and can make it to any part of the country with 18-20 hours. My car is sitting in the trailer ready to go. Where do you live? I travel quite a bit and I would love to come through your area with it. If you don't have something race I'll be kind enough to take you for a ride.

Did you just compare yourself to a professional race team?

I'll leave you with this. There are tons of people you have 9 second cars on paper and they run 12's. There are tons of people with $20k+ cars that runs 12's. There are tons of people with fast cars who can't drive them. Then....There are cars built on paper with people running their mouth and the car never comes close to being built.

Statistically you fit into the last one. If want to continue this, shoot me a PM instead.
