Bassani Catted X-pipe???

Hey ya'll, just installed a Bassani catted x-pipe on my car yesterday and I've noticed it making a weird sound. It's making a sputtering or hissing sound under acceleration. I really don't like it! I have a JBA axle back and I thought I might need to change it up. Could it be an exhaust leak? I've had x pipes before on different cars and they have never sounded like this. I would really appreciate some advice. Thanks

A way that I have checked is to take a rag and briefly cover the exhaust with your hand, not for a long time, and listen. Or look for soot around the connections.

Ive been doing some reading and it might be air resonating in the pipes because of the high flow cats. Do ya'll think that could be it?

bassani catted x pipe

Im not sure but i have bbk shortys,bassani high flow catted x pipe too and steedaaxle backs now all the catts are welded real good and i still have a noise like a hissing sound while getting on it dont see any soot not sure what it is but i dont like the sound when i paid good money any one know what it can be?

could be an exhaust leak, could be mild detonation when you're romping it...

Sounds like an exhaust leak. When I installed my pypes catted x, it had the same sputtering and hissing noise. I had an exhaust shop weld the cats and tighten everything. After that the sound improved. No more hissing and sputtering.
