i have a blown 00' gt with bassani mids with 3" all the way back but i have an automatic and the headers vibrate since they were not intended for autos (previous owners mistake). i have a chance to trade a friend of mine for flowtech longtubes. which one is better? summit states that they will fit correctly with an auto. thanks guys.

from what ive seen on this site, and other mustang sites. everyone bashes flowtech. besides bassani is way more expesive then flowtech, i dont see an even trade. try to sell the bassani mid as used, and then buy a different brand intended for an auto car. flowtech= junk but as judge judy would say its all heresay.

ya i noticed that the flowtech's were around 450 bucks and the bassani is like 650 but traditionally arent longtubes the best as far as headers go. im sure i would take his exhaust plus some cash. plus do longtube have problems scraping the ground on newer mustangs?

Well i got some LT flowtechs and i like them but they are NOT the best.. They look like poo, but i did really feel a power difference, for a good 15-20hp...

Also if you have a lower stang, and long tubes.. your going to scrape..
SpeedBumps = :bang: lol Just feels like your going to rip them off, but for the most part, Longtubes are the way to go - powerwise..

love my flowtechs, they even come with the O2 extensions! Quality is moderate to good, but they certainly improved performance. And I am lowered 2 inches and I dont scrape so I see no problem with them.
