Flows drone no matter what midpipe. The bassani probably does not drone like the flows on the stock midpipe. I wouldn't think it would you a headache.

probably the reason i say that they get quiet is because on my catted X-pipe while cruising at around 2200-2500 the tone gets mellowed out (i.e, not being on the accelerator but just enough to keep it going)

I was pretty disappointed with my bassani x-pipe. It didn't sound too mean. Now when I switched to the Dr.Gas x-pipe, that is a whole entirely different story. I love that x=pipe on my bullitt.
