I've decided that I want to get Bassani longtube headers with their matching xpipe to match my Bassani axleback. I'm undecided on weather to get them with cats or not. The xpipe with cats is $300 more. Even with the longtube headers, am i doomed for smog? Or does it depend on the person smogging? I know by putting this system together, i'll be removing the stock cats, and the Bassani hiflow cats would be in a different place from the stock ones. Also, is anyone having any engine issues caused by longtube headers? I just hope noting goes wrong and my warranty vanishes. Does it make sense to have the hiflow catalytic converters with longtube headers? Will it make the sound less raspy?
