Here is an option..

Bx-series 3pc modular $335.95

Stainless 5pc modular $465.95

For more info, check out the link below

Pretty good prices. The stainless price is equivalent to the lowest i've seen, and the bx price is the lowest i've seen.

Now Mr. Haney motorsports guy, i got a question for you, are you the guy that had the Saleen explorer Cocoa floor matts? I haven't seen them in a while but i need some. I can get them without the logo, but i want real ones.
Still got them? Or any other Saleen explorer parts?

I this the one I need for my 02 manual?

Item Name: 99-03 GT Cobra(99-01) Bassani X-Pipe w/cats Stainless
Item Number: 46993

Yes that is the correct p/n 46993

This is a stainless steel system that is a 5pc modular set which includes offroad legs to go in place of the cats if you wish. It is a pretty good deal...both an offroad and catted x-pipe in one.
By the way, the stainless series x-pipes utilize the better "bullit" style cats. :flag:

I see the 5 piece all the time, that is the pipe of choice at my local Performance shop.

It's nice being able to add and remove the cats at will.

I've got the old stainless 1 piece offroad pipe. If it doesn't fit perfect you are in trouble.

Right.

I'm always the guy who ends up in trouble trying to make a one piece work for everything.

No, but i used to see them with minor xp8 parts on ebay from time to time.

If he takes the time to come here and promote his products, he's probably pretty reliable. Because word of mouth on the internet spreads at light speed.
So he does you right, and you tell 2 people, they tell 4 and so on, he does you wrong, and you tell the entire mustang community.

Yes your car will get louder, with cats not too much, but you will notice, you run no cats and your neigbors won't wan't you starting the car after 10 pm.

Has anyone ever removed some of the material inside of a catalytic converter?

In an effort to make my car a little louder, I am trying to make my car a little louder than stock, and a little quieter than no cats. I was thinking that I could take my new Cats and punch a hole right down through the center. If I did that would the rest of the cat come apart? Thanks :)

You will ruin them by trying to modify the insides, no point putting the cats on.
I'm not sure how a 4.6 reacts to no cats, i know a pushrod motor loves when they are removed.

Ever wonder how everyone gets that deep mean sound? That's by removing the cats.
