Hey, I see Bassani's prices are a bit higher than most other exhaust mfg's... Is it really worth the extra cash to get Bassani stuff? Also, what does the Bassani cat-back sound like on a GT?

Thanks in advance.

well i have the bassani ss o/r x pipe, and it really added superior pulling power. that thing really frees up the hp. however, i live in nj and have bad emissions here so the pipe is sitting in my bedroom. i have to get one with cats. anyway the price is expensive but it is so quility. i can't speak for other brands though except flowmaster, and bassani has them beat. also the catback my boy has on his car, sounds bad ass. bassani stuff sounds pretty aggressive.

Go to Mustangexhaust.com. There you will be able to hear all types of setups. Is it worth it, when it comes to exhaust its all about opinions.

i love my bassani qt cat back. I picked it up almost a year ago from houston performance for an excellent price. Very good quality and the sound is unlike any other. It doesnt sound like your typical mustang it sounds more like a stock car when you get on it. Very loud when you actually get on it hard. I would say its worth every penny and more. I'm glad my car doesnt have the typical mustang sound. It does but yet it doesnt. The exhaust def turns heads people just stop and are like what the hell is coming down the road. So many people have said it sounds like a figure 8 modified(we have a raceway by my house).

I love mine and have absolutely no regrets on paying a little extra money. The sound is amazing. One of the best things is that I have only seen one other stang in my area with Bassani, so mine is unique. Go for it!

You won't gain any hp over a lesser expensive setup, but the quality is unmatched from what I've seen. So, if the quality is what you value, it's probably worth the extra price. I just wanted the sound, so I went with a cheap o/r X and welded in magnapacks. Couldn't be happier, but I know it's not going to last forever like Bassani.

I have the Bassani Catback system on my 03 GT. I think it is the best sounding mustang exhaust out there. I get many complements and lots of other mustang owners asking me were they can get it. It is alittle pricey but i think its worth it.

I wanted a Bassani catback at first... but the cost almost made me crap my pants. How much can you get the catback for? I saw $700+ prices. Real happy with my $340 Magnaflow Magnapacks.

One of my buddys has a Bassani catted mid-pipe and QT catback. Sounds mean as hell, but he hasn't been able to buy more mods because he spent all of his money on his exhaust.......lol

I got the catted X-pipe and the quality is TOP NOTCH. Due to a couple nasty drive ways I hit the cats for what I originally thought was pretty bad, but after a look it just only showed a scrap mark. Can't speak for the cat back because I settle for the Flows through a hook up.
