Anybody here have the new multi-piece bassani x-pipe w/cats? Have they triggered your MIL's like the "old" version? I am dead set on getting a bassani, but I am worried that the cats on the bassani will trigger my MIL. Any feedback would be great, thanks!

Multi-piece? When I got mine a few years ago it came in two pieces. That's multi-piece. Even if it triggers it you could get a chip. Diablo charges about $85 for the first custom burn and about $35 for a reburn.

My MIL's have not tripped yet, my Bassani with cats has been installed for over 3 months.

Yes, the new X by Bassani is a "Multi-Piece" set up. They are no longer using CRAPCO CAT's. The cats are still NOT CARB approved, but I hear they are much better quality. BASSANI all the way!!! Except if you live in a friggin Natzi state with mean polution laws like California. Than go Magnaflow and hope they don't do a visual inspection.
