It is not "bad" per say it is just made from inferior materials. I am one of the people who really does not like alumized. set a piece of alumized pipe and stainless pipe out in the rain for a coulple weeks. look at the differnce. that being said I don't live in cali or arizona. it rains a ton in oregon where I live.
I do think youshould run the same material front to back IMO. I see a lot of mixed and matched matierals. bassani stainless x with flowmaster cat. seems wierd to spend the extra coin in one place but not the other.
I will say I am not a huge fan of the bassani midepipe by design. as it is NOT a true X pipe. anyone buying an alumized x-pipe should run the dr. gas IMO as it has been show over and over again to outpreform all comers and sound it more in the muffers than the midepipe. I did not run it as I went stainless. I was between magnaflow and vrs. VRS was the better deal and in hindsight the thing I did not like (two piece design) made it way easier to install by myself.
all this being said though. a full bassani bx system is going to sound bad ass. It is just eventally going to rust out.
One thing you will never hear a complaint about is the sound of the bassani kit it is only the price. So if the money does not bother you it will make you smile.
