I got mine done at rearendspecialties.. Apex doesn't do it i don't think.. but they will do speedo recalibration either by dyno tune or Abbott Speedo calibrator..stallion98gt said:one of the best shop for gears change:

You need to heat cycle the gears, so closer the better... Rear end specialties tells you not to drive more than 15 miles without a 30 min cool down for the first 100 miles. That is what rear end specialties asks of you, and worth it in the long run, because they will not warranty their work on gears YOU bring in, and most of us like to bring in Ford Racing and Motive gears, so its a good precaution.. when you finish the 500 miles and never have to worry about whining noises again, its all worth it.twogts4us said:That's some pretty good advice. Ask Apex if they would be able to do an Abbott speed calibrator for you.
