Nah, it just needs adjustment.

This link has how to do it on the 5.0 and the 94/95's .. just happened to be the first link I saw.

Do you have an aftermarket plenum or did you bolt it to the stock one?

Everyone has a problem with the TPS....but I installed a BBK 75MM TB about 6 months after my TF plenum....not one problem, idled just fine after install. Apparently you guys are jacking up the TPS when you remove it lol.

Loosen up the 2 bolts on the TPS, start car, move the TPS to the right or left, adjusting by ear, or voltage if you have a meter. There is very little room for adjustment, but it can make a difference. Then tighten. Hope it helps.
2gts4us, I beat you to this one.

there is 2 bolts that holds TPS in place. u reinstalled it little off. So now your TPS is reading bit too low. So u need to get the TPS to 0.95+-.02 for your TPS to work correctly. when you losen those 2 bolts, u have ever so slight movement. u need to measure it as u move it.

after u get it right, u need to reset your PCM. after all is well, it'll idle funny for few days as PCM relearn your car

30 seconds. Disconnect the neg cable and go into the car and place your foot on the brake petal for a few seconds to drain any possible caps holding charges etc.
