BBK CAI and Motorvator Throttle Body Spacer

HELP!!!!!!! I just ordered a BBK Cold Air Intake and a Motorvator Throttle Body Spacer from RPM Outlet. I opened the box and found instructions to put on Under drive Pulleys I was highly pissed off when this happened. I got the Spacer on and started taking the factory intake off to replace it was the BBK CAI system. I got everything off and got the setup on and I went to place the Throttle Sensor on the Intake Elbow and it wouldn't fit. It would not reach. Also they never sent me two clamps for the rubber gasket between the Intake Elbow and the Throttle Body itself. I only had one from the stock Intake Tube. The Intake Elbow wouldn't stay in the Throttle Body and the sensor wouldn't reach to connect. Does anyone have a Throttle Body Spacer and a CAI ???? If so, how did you get it to work? Am I doing something wrong??? Please help me!

Well, I believe I have solved the problem, I did away with the Throttle Body Spacer and installed the Cold Air Intake!

Good deal. I don't think you're missing too much by not having that TB spacer anyway. The CAI will help, and it looks nice.

Throttle Body Spacer & Super Chargers

Do these spacers work with super chargers? I have a Roush SC and would like to reduce my throttle lag, not to mention increase my gas mileage.

I have the bbk intake and a helix TB spacer. It was a little bit tight to get the spacer to work with the intake. the main problems with fitment were the upper radiator support that the inake mounts to. (I just used an alignment tool to fix this) and the pass. side pcv tube was too short, but I made my own and it works fine.

what kind of power do you feel? or how much did mpg improve? you probably dont have hp or torque numbers but was it worth the money? do you need a tune with this mod?

No you do not need a tune with this mod. I have gained about 1 MPG overall with the intake. The car does pull harder in the upper rpm range. I cant say if the TB spacer makes a difference or not because Ive had that on for months now. (The helix is made by Street and Performance, a local shop here)
