Ok I discovered that i have this part on my car that I just bought and have some questions about it. When I look at the part on the car, i see the clutch cable, a white cap and then this piece that screws into the firewall. I try to adjust the adjuster out to put more tension on the clutch but it seems to be as far out as it can go. The white cap seems to get in the way as well. Is there anything I need to know about this BBK adjuster to ensure that i'm adjusting the cable correctly? I don't know if i have an upgraded quadrant yet, that i'll find out this week...

If it is screwed all the way out (counter clockwise) then you are out of adjustment. You most likely have an aluminum quadrant too. Look above the gas pedal for it. There is a good chance you have an adjustable cable too. You will have to pull the dust cover on the drivers side of the trans to see the clutch fork and cable attached to it. If you have an adj cable you can screw the FWA back in and take up the slack down there at the fork. Then you can re-adjust at the firewall.

I take it your clutch is engaging too close to the floor. Correct?

IIRC, the clutch doesn't engage too close to the floor but i'll pay closer attention today. I'm still learning the car as it's my first fox and i'm trying to get everything adjusted to where it should be.
