BBK header install

I'm in the process of putting on the BBK shorty headers onto a 2001 3.8L. Has any one else done this? What did you do to get the driver's side on? I can't seem to get the dipstick between the second and thrid pipes like its suposed to go. Any suggestions?

I have not done this mod yet, but I plan to do it. I have heard about disconnecting the K-member and lifting the engine?? Not sure though....

you disconnected the oil bracket correct?
