i have the chrome BBK shorties, they did turn color, but the engine bay is so cramped you can barely see the headers to begin with.

i went with cooper gaskets, the installers recomended them.

i don't know if it is BETTER at keeping temps down or not (but i bet it is); it is excellent stuff, they coat both inside and out, looks awesome, and has a lifetime warranty

Yeh i got the BBK chrome shorties. Burned off in a week. Now they are crappy and rusted. I wish i would have gotten ceramics. Next on my list is BBk Ceramic Long tubes.

I got the headers yesterday afternoon and then threw them in last night. The whole process took about two and a half hours. They went in really easy except for that stupid EGR tube Everything else bolted up well with no leaks. The ceramic finish is real nice and the overall quality of the header was good.

I was very impressed with the performance gains. I didn't get any additional top end power but the low end torque increased significantly. Definately a nice upgrade.

Thank you all for your input and help.

that and and they cool off a lot faster. you can practically turn the car off and less than five minutes later pull all the spark plugs.

ROTFLMAO!!!!! incorrect

They may cool off faster, but no way you can get within a city block of headers within 5 minutes (btw, i have ceramic LT headers).
