BBK Longtube Headers, fitment issues ???

Hi guys,

after a buddy of mine had fitment issues with his BBK CAI I thought I should check on here before I went ahead and ordered the BBK longtube headers.

Has anyone had any fitment/leak issues with these? I was looking at the ceramic coated $500 ones, with a matching H pipe ($139).

all comments and advice greatly received :nice:

thanks,

EDGE

:damnit: :bang:

looks good tho lol

I have shorties, but I would assume any response about the brands headers would help...

I have the T/L Shorties, and they fit PERFECT! Only issue is quality control where weld splatters are concerned. If you have a dremel it will take about an hour to clean em up, but its worth the lower price as thats the only thing wrong with mine.

Make sure you get them coated. Spend the extra money and get them coated. I here Brenspeed has them really cheap. Also they will not fit Autos i actually called the company three different times and spoke to three different people only one said it might fit but you would have to do a lot of work to get them to fit.

wow.... that is a tight fit....

on the grounds of another thread on here.. d they need to be removed for the transmission to come out? like a clutch change ?

EDGE

BBK LT and 5 speed trans, yes they do need to come out - At least passenger side

Not trying to change the subject, but anyone running Flowtech headers? I know alot of 5.0 guys do and supposedly you can access the clutch without having to take them out on our 4.6's. I might look at getting those

i have flowtech now. and i bought bbk because one of the flowtech headers are warped. i dont like the way flowtechs fit the slip fit on the d/s sucks. so i bought bbk and offroad h pipe to replaced them. ill probably install them next week sometime.
