Hi guys,

after a buddy of mine had fitment issues with his BBK CAI I thought I should check on here before I went ahead and ordered the BBK longtube headers.

Has anyone had any fitment/leak issues with these? I was looking at the ceramic coated $500 ones, with a matching H pipe ($139).

all comments and advice greatly received

thanks,

EDGE

I have shorties, but I would assume any response about the brands headers would help...

I have the T/L Shorties, and they fit PERFECT! Only issue is quality control where weld splatters are concerned. If you have a dremel it will take about an hour to clean em up, but its worth the lower price as thats the only thing wrong with mine.

my BBK LT fit great. Although, clearance between one pipe and steering shaft was bit tight.

5 speeds fit great! Installed 2 already......but the auto....I love my BBK's but fitment was tight.....had to relocate the driver side O2 to the outside and only have about a 1/3 inch of clearance between the header flange and my tranny oil pan!

Make sure you get them coated. Spend the extra money and get them coated. I here Brenspeed has them really cheap. Also they will not fit Autos i actually called the company three different times and spoke to three different people only one said it might fit but you would have to do a lot of work to get them to fit.

Not trying to change the subject, but anyone running Flowtech headers? I know alot of 5.0 guys do and supposedly you can access the clutch without having to take them out on our 4.6's. I might look at getting those

cool... thats what I thought. I've always had all headers ceramic coated, the coating is worth its weight in gold in my opinion
