BBK Longtube Headers, fitment issues ???

fox body... but the bbk ceramic coated lt's I bought fit great. Slid right in, and still look good after a few thousand miles. The bbk high flow cat'ed h pipe didn't like up for crap though.

I use to think my BBK's were great, but when I was taking them off to pull the heads I noticed they didnt fit as well as I thought.

I have a nice couple gashes in one primary from hitting the motor mount. I have talk to a couple of other guys that took there cars apart after the long tube install and noticed the same thing. Also, my ceramic coating is peeling off, which it isnt suppose to do.

I have always heard they were great headers, I might have just gotten a bad ceramic coating

ouch... that doesnt look great... how was that hitting, the motor was rocking and itting the chassis side of the mount ? I guess I should buy some upgraded motor mounts too then... just to be safe..

yes, im an idiot for not upgrading motor mounts when it was all apart. Do a trial fit with the new motor mounts and check for clearence. I grinded the stock mounts to gain better clearence, I wish I would have just bought new ones.... oh well

guess i better order new mounts too then... any opinions on brands ?
