I had heard that this combo is not as loud as O/R h with Flows . That is not the case with my car. It is twice as loud as my 89 with BBK headers, offroad h and American Thunder catback. I almost got a ticket within 20 minutes of picking it up from the garage. Don't get me wrong it is loud and I love it. The only bad thing is now I have every ricer in town tring to race me.

I've got the BBK Off road H with the american Thunder cat-back, and stock manifolds. I think it sounds "t3h s3x"

Its only loud when I really get into it and burbles oh so nice at idle. And it actually drones LESS than with the factor H in it.

When it comes to exhaust, modulars are much louder than the pushrod motors. I ran an O/R pipe on my '95 all the time, but on my '03 I won't run anything but the stock 4-cat midpipe to keep the noise under control.

did you use mil eliminators or a chip to turn off the downstream O2's? If you dont, there's your code.

Yea my combo is'nt what I thought it was going to be. It's only loud on cold day's, or when I first start the car and drive it for a little bit and then trun it off and then start it again then sound's the best.. start's poping love it but then goes away. I have the notice the 4.6's are louder.

I was not going for loud when I made up my mind on this combo. I wanted a performance gain and read that out of the chamberd mufflers Mac seemed to ratain a little more power in the lower RPM's than the Flowmasters. Is I have had some time to drive it it does not have very much low tone to it unless your at idle, it still sounds AWESOME.

Well this is best I can do for a video clip. I recorded this on a digital camera so you will have to turn it up to hear it. Still this is no were near as good as it really sounds.

I have a chart saved somewhere that lists decibel ratings of popular Mustang exhausts... Mac was the loudest...

I have a their catback and offroad H on my 5.0... it's pretty loud, definately a bit louder than 2 chamber flows. If it were any louder I wouldn't really consider it streetable for a daily driver... I have to creep through neighborhoods at night to avoid waking everyone up... even parked 20ft away in the street it rumbles my entire house. Most people think I changed the cam from the way it sounds at idle.

Your car sounds great though, gotta love that mod motor howl.
