looks good to me. you might try and put it in that way then clamp in once its in the car. it may just be me, but i have HORRIBLE luck with putting a h-pipe on. off all the things i have done, installing an H-pipe is the worst. i cut my hangers off and it goes in alot easier, but mine i cheap i would keep yours. It outa be easier going in with it in 2 pieces like that...

Install the pipe, get everything lined up and then put the clamp on. Then drive it to the muffler shop & have them weld it or at least tack it while it is in place. The remove the H pipe & have it welded all the way around. That will prevent the hot gases from leaking out & burning holes in the pipe.

I want to hear a sound clip once you get it installed, I have the same cat-back as you and am trying to decide between an BBK X pipe and BBK H pipe. I already know what the X sounds like, just wanna hear the H.

What I generally do is to clamp the last inch or so of the tube in a vice and squeeze it flat. Then I run a bead of weld to seal it. But if you dont have a welder, I have also squeezed it then folded it and squeezed it again and had no leak.

grab a bolt that fits snug into the hole, buy a small exhaust clamp, coat the threads with JB weld or copper gasket maker and clamp it as tight as you can ge t it, i did that with JB weld and it worked out good

I have both the BBK O/R 2pc h-pipe and the 1pc BBK catalitic h-pipe. The O/R pipe was bought for me because the wife didnt know I had the other one. All I can say is that the 2 pc O/R goes on and off far easier than the 1pc catted pipe. I, like most people I know with mustangs cut off 1 of the hangers and loosely mounted the first half and then fit up the 2nd. It was so easy that way. I dont have any problems with leaks either. I wouldnt be to eager to have it welded up unless you have a problem with leaks. I like the O/R pipe more than the hi-flo catted pipe so Im going to sell it.

the best way I found was to get a short rachet extender from a parts store, like $3, and pound that sucker in the smog tube. It fits real snug and will not leak. And if for some strange reason you ever needed to use the smog tube again, you could probably manage to jimmy it back out. Looks nice too!
