I have just installed BBK underdrive pulleys on my Cobra and now I am reading that the "piggy back" style is not very good for the engine. The car is winter storage currently so I have not had a chance to get on the road to see for myself. This also gives me time if I decide to change them. I heard Steeda pulleys work well because they are not "piggy back." Anybody have opinions?

The steeda are better b/c the crank pully, is an underdrive, and a harmonic balancer in one. This is dumb I know, but I've run my BBK's w/o the harmonic balancer for 70K miles and no problems, so I'm sure your'e in better shape than I am by having it on. The shop that put them on thought the crank pully was a harmonic balancer already so they didn't mess with putting on my stock harmonic balancer piggy back. I never could get it on right. I may have gotten 98 pullies on my 00 I don't get it. They're comming off soon anyway for a s/c.

What did you hear bad about it ?
BTW- just in case, I check into this before. You can buy a new Steeda u/d crank / harmonic balancer by it's self for ~ $100.

Go Steeda!! I'm getting rid of my BBK UDP's as soon as I get the Steeda ones. I have had problems with them making strange noises.
