Can someone with a bbk throttle body tell me if there car revs up to 2100 at cold start up?because mine dose it works fine besides that and bbk told me thats because itsd a bigger tb it will rev up high on cold starts
NOPE!!! I have the GT-500 throttle body wich is even bigger then the BBK and it doesn't do that. The BBK unit is a constant headache on these cars. Changing the throttle body requires precision tuning on the TP sensor whioch you can't do without proper tools thats why everybody has had trouble with these things. My recommendation take this as a loss and get the GT-500 TB kit from RPMoutlet.com "i know a lot of people hate them" but it's the best way to go. That BBK is a disaster waiting to happen!!!
MMR and JDM both carry the GT500 TB with adapter, and have much better reputations. You don't have to sacrifice customer service to get what you need. Steer clear of RPM Outlet.
