I bought a direct fit radiator p/n 60165 be cool radiator and it fits fine except for when I try and put the upper radiator mounts on. The wont fit at all. Not even close. Its like the bracket on top needs to be longer. Has anyone ran into this problem if so how did you fix it. I could make custom ones but I assume you still need some type on rubber absorber on top just like the factory one does to keep from shaking the s* ** out on the piece. Any sug.?

Well you have two options, one you can cut the rubber to fit or remove it, or two you can get a radiator support from UPR, it is one piece and made out of aluminum. im assuming you have a 79-93 mustang.
