Well, now that it's the middle of August...
The Oktoberfest beers are all out! yay...
I'm going to buy a couple of cases of my favorites to store in the basement, so I can enjoy them in, you know...
OCTOBER!!![]()
How long does it take for a beer to go skunky in a dark bottle, stored in a cool, dark, dry space?Well, now that it's the middle of August...

How long for that?If it's stored in a dark place, it can't skunk. The beer will oxidize and expire long before.
How long for that?
It's only down there for about a month, haven't had a problem so far.Well, then the one bottle of beer left in the garage fridge the Mrs. bought in a pick your poison pack to cook with is probably past it’s prime. I will proceed with caution. It varies by style. An Oktoberfest beer will probably show a 90 day code, but it will be fine for 6 months or more if stored properly.
Hoppy has a much shorter shelf life. I like to drink with in 30 days. Preferably two weeks.

My thoughts were if its Yuengling, it might be a tasty light beer.... If its really hot out and I am thirsty, a lighter beer kinda hits the spot...Nope. I like Yuengling Lager and Black and Tan, but don't drink light beers, generally.
If I'm out at a restaurant and don't want a beer, but don't want pop or tea either, I'll get a Bud Light.
"Bud Light! The beer I drink when I don't feel like having a beer!"
... Nope, no calls from my agent, yet.![]()
I haven't personally, but a buddy of mine did and said it was pretty good.Has anyone tried the new Yueng Ling " flight " light beer yet??
