Anyone do their quarter window trim. Is that possible to take off easily and paint.

you have to take the entire 1.4 window out I guess...I mean you can mask it off and paint it on the car, but its easier to just take out...and to do that, you need to pull away the interior piece on the inside by the window to get it apart

The rubber trim between the window and the door on my car was very deteriorated and was needed of replacement. i found two old foxbody doors behind my girlfriend's dad's garage and he sais I could take what I wanted from them. So I took the trim off which was like new and used it to replace my old, faded, hail-chipped, hard trim that was on my car.

These are the doors I took the trim from..

Comparison..

After

I found it fairly easy to do the swap. Took me about 20 min in total. Sorry for the crappy pic quality. I took them with my phone. Yes I know my car is filthy lol.

All you do is take 1 screw out in the door jam that holds it in.. And then gently slide it back. Then take it right off. Easy as crap.
