On my way to work this morning at 0430.. and I always cross this one bridge that has a great sound wall the echos the exhaust so nice, so I open her up to 80+ and sure as hell, there is a bike cop, just hanging out taging me.. Before he even flips his lights on, I automatically pull over and await his arrival. He pulls in behind me walks up see;s the fact that im in uniform .. looks me in the eye and says " Love the sound of muscle, keep her under 60 SGT" and walks off ! I was ready to face my actions with a ticket but hell if I get a freepass.. THANK YOU ! ..

Just thought I would rant a little.. it was nice !

Nice! You were pretty lucky though. Was it CHP? A friend of mine is one and said every time they pull someone over they are writing a ticket.

I have had that happen a few times when I was pulled over in uniform, but when the MP's pulled me over they gave me a ticket...lol

My brother in law was in the army and got pulled over by an MP in Fort Hood for speeding....... on rollerblades...... he got ticketed!

Yeh I have alot of friends who are MPs needless to say some of these guys are just freking kids with tooo much power.. most of them are doush bags.. BUT there are some MPs that freaking rock !

I was escorted home by an MP while I was just walking on base. At least that's what I was told--I can't remember it.

It was during WWII, when my father was in the Army. Seems I slipped out of the house when mom wasn't looking and headed out to buy meat. The MP thought that someone 2 or 3 years old shouldn't be walking around by himself, so he returned me to mommy. I THINK she was glad to get me back.

I've broken the speed limit on certain roads inside the base while jogging.
