Belt routing with just an Alternator???

An adjustable alt. bracket and new belt. Shouldn't need the serp. tensoner with only one accessory.

This is how I did mine. The March pulleys are pretty expensive though.

That's where the blower is. I think he wanted to equalize the load on the crank by having the alt. on the driver side. Buy the bracket and cut a 1/4" x 3" piece of aluminum or steel and drill the hole to mount the top part of the alt. to the bracket. Then drill two holes and get out your jig saw to make a adjustable slot for the piece to mount to the alt. That way you can just get a belt that fits half way between the slot you've made and pull the alt. till the belt is tight. No tensioner needed.
