benefit of a "327" over a 305 big bore ?

I read in MMFF or 5.0 that the horsepower gain is minimal and the torque inrease in neglible. Anyone out there with experience.

You're probably not going to see much gains if you're talking about putting it underneath stock 2V hardware. The heads/cam/intake aren't even enough to feed a 4.6L at 6000rpms, much less something bigger than that.

From what I've read, a bigger bore helps unshroud the valves, which is an issue with the modular engine's narrow bores.
