Would you install subframe connesctors if your rear subframes weres dinged up from being jacked up, or replace them first? They are not damaged badly, no rust outside anyway, just bent from having floor jacks and bottle jacks put under them. Mostly, dented in at the middle bottom.

Are you talking about the frame rail extensions that are under the front floor pan? Yeah, these are very commonly dented up. Depending on how bad they are, I'd consider pulling the dents with a slide hammer as best you can and then boxing them in with thicker steel. I guess you could replace them altogether, but if you're not sticking with stock I'd just beef them up.

Sorry, I meant the rear frame rails. Both frt. rails have been raplaced along with the frt. sections of floor pans, so they are in A1 shape.
I also thought of maybe cutting a small section out and welding in a little support. Good or bad idea?

i personally was planning on doing exactly what reen said, pull the dents and box them in with some steel, 1/8" thick probably don't know if anythicker would be better or not

IS there a part house that makes a frame rail box kit that would fit over a frame rail to add support? Such as:

What frame rail is larger then a 68's that can fit over the front rail to do this. Need to get Milner351 to answer.

Here is Milner351 webpage showing all work there. It's at the bottom. Great Idea ehh? I would lonve to do it but don't know what part to order
