i use dexcool ... .the orange stuff ... i havent had a problem yet .... 50/50 ... but ill tell ya what i dont like it in the newer gm cars ... seams to break down and turn colors and creates brown crap in the over flow tank.... just my 2cents

I just wanted to ping this guy. He last visited 12 years ago and I wonder if his email and alert settings still work. lol

My car had orange coolant in it (dexcool), and an aftermarket replacement radiator. I drained it out and did a flush with 100 percent water. I then installed an original low-mileage mustang 2 row copper radiator and flushed the system again. Afterwards, I used traditional green coolant (not sure if it was PEAK or Prestone). It is 30 percent coolant and 70 percent water. I live in south Florida.
