Best California Emissions legal CAM for

Take a look at the Steeda #18 & #19 cams. The #19 makes great power with little overlap. I would think that it would be legal. The #18 is the same cam with different timing. i.e. more overlap. It would make more torque in your combo but I am not sure if it is legal.
good luck

Um if you have to have a CARB number you are pretty much stuck with the Ecam. Otherwise I would suggest a custom cam as far as your best cam and the TFS stage 1 is a pretty nice piece for off the shelf.

How would they know that your cam was aftermarket without pulling it to find out?

Have a custom cam cut and let them know that you need to be emissions compliant.

The Crane 2031 cam runs mighty fine too. A touch more low end than the TFS Stage 1. It has just enough sound that lets you know its not stock. Get 15" of vacuum too.
