Best Cat Back System??

What cat back system would you suggest my friend gets for her '98 Mustang GT?

My sister has a Flowmaster 40 Series dual "catback" (no cats... has x pipe w/o cats, headers, etc.) system and it sounds freaking incredible. It growls! I love it.

I had a Ravin'Z system on my 1998 BMW and it sounded great... Go to www.goravin.com then click on Sounds, then scroll down to Mustang 5.0L, click it, then press play. Obviously a comp can't do a great job sound wise (for exhaust), and I have not heard a Ravin system on a Mustang in person.

Is the new Super 40 Series available yet, if so where/how much?

Anyone have idea's / opinions?

I have the Bassani Xhaust on mine and really love the sound! But if you need some help with what different exhaust systems sound like check out mustangexhaust.com. They have some great sound clips with just about every setup you can think of.

Yep, another vote for Mustangexhaust.com. They have great clips of pretty much everything :nice:.
If your friend doesnt want to pay all the $ for a full catback, she can just as easily buy the mufflers and have a shop weld them in place. I paid like $60 some bucks each for my 40 Series Flows then paid $25 bucks each to get them welded in. Car sounded GREAT!!! My car was just to new at the time to warrent me going with a full catback.

Last month I would have said SLP X-pipe and SLP Loud mouth Cat-back, but now ...I would say Magnaflow X-pipe and Borla Stinger Cat-back. Nearly as loud as the SLP, but doesn't have quite as much 2-Stroke Dirt Bike "pop-pa-pop" sound as the SLP.
