Well people have many complaints about bassani being low to the ground and their cats suck.. upr is pretty good I guess.. same with SLP... Just go with whichever you like best.. the sound and quality that is..

The new 5 piece Bassani X uses their new "torpedo" style cats. These cats actually sit higher than did the cats on the stock H-pipe. PLUS, they're removable -- the kit comes with straight tubes to use at the track . . .

DO NOT BUY BASSANI!!! The cats will burn out within 6 months. I would say SLP. Its interchangable with "race pipes" so you can put the cats on and take them off whenever you want. I have a UPR offroad x pipe with my 40 series and its MEAN!!!

Does the MagnaFlow Catted X-Pipe trip the check engine light or cause the system check to fail?

I want to run this pipe, but NY is going to an OBD-II test this year where they plug into your OBD-II diagnostic port and check all he sensors for complience.

I would go Magnaflow. However I have the Bassani and the only issue I have with it is that it does kick the SES light on. It makes the power and has a good sound with the Magnaflow catback. Maybe some people have problems with it being too low, but mine isn't much different than stock.

I was going to get the Magnaflow catted X, but a buddy of mine had the Bassani on his 01 Cobra and decided to sell the car with just over 2000 miles on the odometer so I got the X pipe for half price. I couldn't pass that up.
