best catted X-Pipe?

The new 5 piece Bassani X uses their new "torpedo" style cats. These cats actually sit higher than did the cats on the stock H-pipe. PLUS, they're removable -- the kit comes with straight tubes to use at the track . . .

Does the MagnaFlow Catted X-Pipe trip the check engine light or cause the system check to fail?

I want to run this pipe, but NY is going to an OBD-II test this year where they plug into your OBD-II diagnostic port and check all he sensors for complience.

i got the new 5 piece bassani with the new cats, the pipe and cats sit a tad higher than the original, ive got a bassani pipe on my 93 thats been on since early 99 and the cats havent gone out on it. i guess its hit and miss with bassanis cats

I would go Magnaflow. However I have the Bassani and the only issue I have with it is that it does kick the SES light on. It makes the power and has a good sound with the Magnaflow catback. Maybe some people have problems with it being too low, but mine isn't much different than stock.

I was going to get the Magnaflow catted X, but a buddy of mine had the Bassani on his 01 Cobra and decided to sell the car with just over 2000 miles on the odometer so I got the X pipe for half price. I couldn't pass that up.

My Bassani X pipe(with cats) set off my SES light...MIL eliminators fix that.
