I just finished getting my 98 cobra rims painted. I love the 98 cobra rims, but wish they were 9" rims. These will be going on my coupe. I have new center caps on order. Just need to figure out the tires.
I had a set of those on my white 90 hatch back in 1999. Picked them up for $400. The polished ones where only on 97-98s. Looked really good on the car.Those or the 96-98 gt split 5 spoke rims in brushed, been keeping my eyes open for a cheap set but there not around like they used to be.

I ran a set of the '94-'95 versions on my '86 GT. I think those are one of the best wheels for those cars. They suit the four-eyes very well.I still have a soft spot for these. Ran a set on my car for well over 10 years

the issue is with the front wheel opening, I think it was 91 they made the opening slightly larger for the 16" wheel.What size are these wheels? 8 X 17? From what I have read on this site, those might not fit on my 83?
