I just finished getting my 98 cobra rims painted. I love the 98 cobra rims, but wish they were 9" rims. These will be going on my coupe. I have new center caps on order. Just need to figure out the tires.

I had a set of those on my white 90 hatch back in 1999. Picked them up for $400. The polished ones where only on 97-98s. Looked really good on the car.

10k? LOL, no thanks!

I agree the 98 Cobras are the best Ford OE wheel for the mustangs, but I also wish it was a 9". I wonder if Maker's Garage is planning to do a set of those? I know he's got the reimagined 93 Cobras but if he could redo the 98's that'd be awesome!

I love my 98 cobras. Too bad they aren’t on the car and probably won’t. They are for the next car…

But gotta say….I do like these

I remember when these type of chrome steel wheels were big on anything from pony cars to custom vans and pickups because they were available and cheap.

@Mstng93SSP your wheels look great. I hope the paint holds up. What did you use?

I ran a set of the '94-'95 versions on my '86 GT. I think those are one of the best wheels for those cars. They suit the four-eyes very well.

I had a set of the '98 Cobra wheels on my '94 GT for a short while. I ended up taking them off and eventually selling them because I was a broke kid who couldn't afford new tires for them. The tires that were on them were almost completely bald. I absolutely loved the way they looked on the car.

What size are these wheels? 8 X 17? From what I have read on this site, those might not fit on my 83?

the issue is with the front wheel opening, I think it was 91 they made the opening slightly larger for the 16" wheel.
