Best Ford Rims Ever

the issue is with the front wheel opening, I think it was 91 they made the opening slightly larger for the 16" wheel.

That opening ran up to 1990. I have had these 17x8 wheels on my car and you can make it work. A 235/4517 or 245/40/17 help make it fit.

The issue is the style of 5-lug conversion you run. They bolt up fine with SN95 wheels. If you do the 5-lug conversion rotors on the fox spindle, you gotta do something like this

Why did I not think of that in 1999? I ran a wheel spacer on the fronts till something broke and caused the front passenger wheel to point right and the driver wheel to point straight. I fixed that by upgrading to the Cobra brake kit.

Lol I have a 93 gt that had a fender bender in its past, some one threw a 90 below gt font spat on a 91-93 fender before I picked it up. Has sn95 spindles and 13" cobra fronts, it just barely rubs the spat while turning with a 245/45/17 on knock off cobra R rims so you could probably shave it down to fit with factory location A arms/ k member.

I've been looking for a cheap passenger side spat for a while but not much luck local. you can still buy nos cheaper then both used and the repops but I wouldn't waste a nos part on that car, its actually the same car I'm looking for those rims for. There's a company that sells a repo of that rim in the brushed finish for around 150 new also

Does any of the S550 or s197 17" oem rims fit decent with a sn95 width stuff. Seeing some cheap oem 17 rims and tires on facebook these days but no clue on the newer stuff if they need spacers or not. Tires are too tall but there good enough for burnouts and rolling a car around lol

Is it a clearance or fitment issue- ie tire to wheel arch gap for $100 with tires I could car less about being sucked in, just need cheap wheels to roll a car around with cobra brake swap on it preferably without buying spacers while I do the body work. Most I've seen are the base s550 17x7 rims but can't find crap for info googling.
