I have decied that I will get a nitrous kit after I get my gears in and leave it like that untill I get out of school unless I have to take the head off to change the gaskets or something like that.. It wont be for a few months but I will get it. What in your opinion is the best nitrous kit for the money? I want a either a 75 or 100 shot and a 10 lb bottle. My car is pretty much stock except for straight pipes and cobra roller rockers, and Ill have 3.73's by the time I get the nitrous. Im looking for something around $400 for the COMPLETE kit.. Any suggestions?

Ebay - Zex kit. If it's your first attempt at nitrous, I highly recommend it.
What makes this one better than the other kits for a first timer? I would prefer someting for a first timer. installing it wont be a problem, just getting on it might. lol

EDIT: And what is better? wet or dry?

I've been told that the best kit for new users would be the ZEX Dry kit. It's so simple to install and safe to use. I've been told. Guero just blew a head gasket with that kit, so all of them run risks, of course. I plan on getting the Zex one when I get the cash. You can get them pretty cheap form the classifides.

Zex has the built-in TPS hook up. You set the WOT signal and it won't activate until then. It also adjusts according to bottle pressure which is a truely awesome feature. I've run heads up with guys with the same shot on other mustangs.... Zex flat out doesn't fall off like they do when the bottle gets near the end or is cold in the winter time.

So far my solenoids have lasted longer than most of my friends NOS, CompuCar, or other kits. Might be because they are kept away from the elements in the box, not sure.

The dry kit is great for your needs. Plus it's cheaper. The wet kit is nice, friend has it on his car. I do like the newer design as it has a smaller control box to mount. :nice: But my old dry kit has been great.

BTW - had a full kit sell on my club site for $250 in was in great shape. So you can get them for a steal now.

Thanks, once I get my gears ill start looking for a used one for a good price. Maybe vice versa. Cause I am gwetting the gears for free in June. I may get the nitrous before then.

I remember you even made a thread and said not to comment on the wheels. You admitted that they were uuuuugly. lol

Admitted the backspacing wasn't to eye appealing. I didn't want comments as too many people had already let me know they didn't like them. The thread was about running juice. :nice:

but that was my fault for being a lazy ass bum and not checking the air to fuel ratio, bam went my gasket lol. was running lean. but that was a good thing after all lol. i would go with zex, safe and cheap.
