Is this the bolt that attaches the fender? My fenders are bowing out from previous owner jacking in wrong place and im trying to straighten the pinch weld
area but will need to loosen and readjust the fender?
That's the fender bolt. You'll need to straighten that area out to get the fender to sit correctly.
I put my way through college doing oil changes and installing tires at Firestone. Two lessons learned, 1. Never use Firestone tires, 2. Avoid putting your car on a lift whenever possible. When you are paid flat rate, you shove those 2 post arms anywhere, and hit the button. The pinch welds on my car look like Fjord road. Now I take my wheels off the car and bring them in seperately to have the tires changed. My Mustang has been 2 post lift clean for 17 years now.
I have a very specific technique for jacking up my car. From the back, I lift the car up from the pumpkin, then put the jackstands under the shock mounts on the axle. On the front, I have to lift one side where the control arm meets the K-member just enough to get another jack under the center section of the K-member to bring it up the rest of the way. Then I put the jack stands under the spring perches on the front control arms.
If you have to jack your car up from the pinch welds, get a set of these.

You shouldn't have to jack your car up by the pinch welds.
Ever.
The factory tire replacement jack uses the pinch welds. Back when these cars were made, there was a clear recess in the pinch weld, with support angle metal to do this. After 25+ years, that distinct recess looks like a popped zit on almost every car. I put that link up because the only place to jack my Focus up is on the pinch welds. It's a helpful tool to have if you own multiple vehicles.

I have bolt in BBK Subframe connectors. I bolted them in and then welded them in, At that point is my Jacking point. Have 2 per side that way.

Also a great suggestion. Subframe connectors are a must have for foxbody chassis. You can always jack from the frame connector.

I hear ya and agree, but the mentality of the average motorist when it comes to jack points is nil. Hell, the average tow truck driver is a neanderthal and don't care about how they jack up a car. Just 'get-r-dun'.The factory tire replacement jack uses the pinch welds. Back when these cars were made, there was a clear recess in the pinch weld, with support angle metal to do this. Yup, all my hook points look like a post birth vagina after years of having tow truck drivers yank on the winch. When I was young and inexperienced, my car had multiple piggy back rides.
