I'm on my 2nd heater core from Johns Mustang, keep having problems with them snapping on install (I've done this before, never had a problem). They all seem to be really poorly brazed...

Anyways, who makes the best one out there? They're not expensive, but I really don't want to do this again.

Thanks.

I got mine from a local parts store and so far so good. If you want to be really sure it will not leak from the braze take it to a radiator shop and have them add some more at the joints. Also tank test it in your sink before putting it in the car.

I got mine from AutoZone and have had no issues. Well, I did have one issue. Had it in the car for a year and it clogged up, resulting in no heat. No fault of the heater core, as I take all the blame for not taking care of my cooling system. Anyway, it has the lifetime warranty and cost only something like $25.00 when I bought it in 2006. I took it back and got a new one (FREE!), which works like a champ. Can't beat their lifetime warranty.
