Best solution to soak heads in to clean?

I picked up a set of Stage III twisted wedge heads that I decided that I am going to sell. They are in really good condition, but I want to clean them up. There is some carbon build up on the valves and the exhaust ports are pretty black. Can I soak these heads in some kind of solution and then put a pressure washer to them to blow all of that stuff out?

The best possible approach is to have theheads "hot tanked" at a machine shop. Carbon desposits don't yield well to normal commercial solvents. The "hot tank" will make the heads appear new and resale value will improve drasticaly.

Do the heads have to be disassembled for that process? Any idea on what an average cost for something that is?
