Best way to remove rear tint residue???

I went out to my car last week (96 GT) and half my freakin rear window tint was hanging on my back seat! So I ripped it all off cause it was driving me crazy, whats the best way to remove the glue they use? without leaving a residue on my window?

paint reducer, like thinner, it knocks it right off just soak a rag down with it wipe it on and take a razor blade and all the glue will just pile up on the blade.
its sucks and takes a while but thats the best way i have found to do it

do you have the rear defrosters??? dont razor blade it if you do!!!!

Yes you need to work around the rear defrost bars, dont cut those.

if you scrub really hard with the reducer you wont need any razor blades.

wear gloves or you might wipe your fingers off as well

Nah dont have rear defrost... I'll try that stuff, can you get it at Lowes or Home Depot?

Just pay a shop to remove it! Don't even try it yourself!!! It's a nightmare! I paid $30 to get it over with.

Well I had some free time yesterday and got it all off with a razor blade and some brake cleaner, lol. The glue must have went bad from UV rays or something cause once you broke the edge it just fell off!

+1 on the paint reducer... I took off all my old tint with it and didnt have a problem at all.
